Who we are and what these terms cover
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CipherHunt website (the "site"). The site is operated by Cipher Hunt Ltd ("CipherHunt", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 06096307), registered office Origin Workspace, 40 Berkeley Square, Bristol, BS8 1HP. Cipher Hunt Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Comera Intelligence Ltd.
By accessing or using the site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Please read them together with our Privacy & Cookie Policy.
These Terms cover your use of the website. They are not our terms of business — if you instruct us to provide forensic, investigation or recovery services, that work is governed by a separate written engagement agreed with you.
Using our website
You may use the site for lawful purposes — to learn about our services and to get in touch. You must not:
- use the site in any way that is unlawful or fraudulent;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server or any connected infrastructure, or disrupt it (for example by introducing malware or attempting to overload it);
- submit false or misleading information, or use our forms to send spam or unsolicited content;
- copy, extract or re-use content from the site except as permitted below.
Information only — not advice
The content on this site is general information about our services and about crypto-asset fraud, investigation and recovery. It is not legal, financial, investment or professional advice and should not be relied on as such. Whether an investigation or recovery is possible depends entirely on the facts of each case, so please contact us (or take independent professional advice) before acting. Nothing on this site is an offer to achieve any particular outcome: recovery of lost or stolen crypto-assets is often not possible and is never guaranteed. Scope and fees for any engagement are agreed in writing before work begins.
Regulatory status
Cryptoasset investigation and recovery are not regulated activities in the UK. The new FCA cryptoasset regime taking effect on 25 October 2027 applies to cryptoasset service providers such as exchanges and custodians — not to services like ours. Cipher Hunt Ltd is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and our services are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) or the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS). We operate in line with applicable UK anti-money-laundering obligations and the financial promotions rules, and apply identity verification and due diligence to every engagement.
Intellectual property
The content, design, branding, logos and materials on this site are owned by or licensed to CipherHunt and are protected by intellectual property law. You may view and print pages for your own reference. You may not otherwise copy, reproduce, republish or use them for commercial purposes without our permission.
Links to other sites
The site may link to third-party websites (for example the FCA, Action Fraud or the ICO). We provide these links for convenience only; we are not responsible for the content or availability of those sites, and a link does not imply we endorse them.
Availability and disclaimers
